Look, I picked up Kashmir: Garden of the Himalayas for the hype and stuck around for the sheer nerve of it. Raghubir Singh says things out loud that most writers would sand down to nothing. A few lines are a little too proud of themselves. Great for readers who like a book with a backbone, skip it if you prefer polite.
