The handsome doctor David has been an interesting figure o me since I read the story of his brother finding his mate.

So happy to see that with the breaking of the St Natalis curse that we might see even more mating ahead! even better that the good doctor finally found his mate - and what an adorable one!

Awesome insofaras she s short and plump, and so unlike so many of the big tall werewolves.

great to see her self confidence and self awareness gaining.

A really good shifter romance.💞🐺💖💞

Cassie is back home after just not making it on Broadway. David is a doctor in their hometown but he's also a wolf shifter who is having a bear of a time controlling his shift. But when he stops into the local coffee shop, he is overwhelmed with the scent of his mate and has to have her. But Cassie is a true "normal" and she knows his secret... and it doesn't stop her attraction to him.💕💗🔥💕

Goodbye, Broadway!

Cael's brother, a doctor, is the head of ER and terrifically busy. The curse constraining werewolves from shifting, except at the full moon, has been lifted but the newly freed wolves have not yet come to terms with themselves, essentially throwing them all back into adolescence as they struggle to understand their changing selves. Enter Cassie, a second rung Broadway actress, who has grown tired of the NY state of mind and come back home to New Jersey in time for Christmas. Moving rapidly from Meet Cute to heavy attraction to, by the end of the novel, steamy erotica, we get to know our protagonists and their places in the Pack. Rapid action and very entertaining!

I have read a lot of these types of books lately and honestly found this one to be refreshingly different. Her writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world she created.
Her descriptions of the characters abilities are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind. Their attitudes toward the events that are happening makes the story even richer.

Another entertaining shifter romance by CD Gorri. She once again brings strong characters in David and Cassie , gives them a smoldering passion for each other and guides them into a forever love. It's a sweet story , moves quickly and smoothly and had me hooked from start to finish. I enjoyed and would recommend this book.

Cassie is really at a crossroads. She is back home with her stepmother after her plans did not go the way she wanted. She doesn't expect her stepmom to be setting her up with anyone. David is not looking for love but it finds him. Once he finds Cassie, he doesn't want to lose his chance at his fated mate.

I very much enjoyed the story. Cassie and David make for a wonderful couple. Their unexpected love really is a well done romance.

Straight from her Christmas list
This is the perfect holiday story. It’s full of sweetness and excitement with just that little bit of angst to add flavor to the overall story. I really enjoyed that we got to see some of our favorite characters from previous books and of course the new ones that take the lead. I love that these two found their HEA and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

loved it!!

I absolutely loved this book! Gorri gave us so much in this short novella… family bonds, sweet romance, and a love of belonging and helping out in one’s community. Outreach is very important in a young boy or girls life. Kids need BOTH parents, people try and stress how strong and independent they are and that they can do it on their own but nothing can replace the nuclear family. A good man and woman to raise a family. This book was extremely sweet. I love the Falk clan, if you haven’t read the Dragons yet I highly recommend and suggest reading it. David and Cassie was such a sweet coupling. What was even sweeter was when her mom found her mate 😘😉. I LOVED that book. Again, we see lots of old friends, Cat, Charley and Rafe had a small cameo as well. All excellent stories in their own right. Gorri is a phenomenal writer of epic proportions. If you’re blessed enough to stumble upon her world you’ll never want to leave. Her stories has made me happy, have made me smile, shout in anger and have made me cry… she’s a master of emotions and a weaver of tales. Her brilliance is brighter than the sun and her personality and wit is legendary but if you’re lucky enough to call her friend then it’s more precious than orichalcum. This grumpy bear 🐻 gave this book 5 wolves 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺

Nice to have David’s story.
Nice Christmas read but found Cassie a bit pathetic with her bemoaning about everything wrong with her life.
Constantly whining about her crappy life, having not made it on broadway, which was down to her probably living with her director boyfriend, and constantly comparing her short chubbiness, her words, against tall blonde bombshells.
And why was she going off at David for spilling her coffee when she turned and walked into him.
Think David could have done better for a mate but maybe she will come good.
We have some O/W other woman drama but what happened in the end with the rotten nurse, who was lying to everyone about her and David being a couple.
Hope the step-mother Stephanie gets her story, she was very likeable.

This is a lovely Christmas tale (pun intended!). It is an exciting and scary time for the werewolves since the curse has been broken, but can a werewolf and a normal, who is not so normal, actually work as mates? Read to find out!

Cassie has a bit of self esteem issues. David doesn't. Overall the story is warm and inviting. It does include a pair of explicit scenes which seem par for the course.

The story was okay. Since it was a short, there wasn't a whole lot of plot development so there was a minimum of drama. Though even with shifters, this insta love can be a bit much. 30 hours after meeting, David has mate marked Cassie. Tis a bit fast.
