Gets you up and coding
This book opens by explaining Python and why it is a good beginner code to learn. The author notes it is straightforward and allows you to epand on it as your skills and needs grow. Also, the author points out that companies like Google, Netflix, YouTube, and DropBox use Python for their programming. Since the reader is likely familiar with all of these, this lends weight to Python's usefulness in the real world. The reader will be investing their time and energy into a pratical endeavor. I thought the walk through exercises were easy to follow. Overall, I think this is a well done book.
