Enchanting Daisy

Rate this book
“Oi, that flower belongs to me!”

When Amie Green picks a daisy from an overgrown lawn, it never occurs to her that it could spark such a row. Neither did she expect that it would ignite romantic feelings for the hot tempered man in the blue house. But, before long, it’s clear that Harry and his Irish wolfhound aren’t quite what they seem. What tremendous secret are they guarding? And is Amie brave anough to follow her heart into the unknown?

In the first part of the Between series, we’re transported down a mysterious, misty river to a universe wrought out of magic and myth, where enchanted princes battle monstruous queens and evil creatures. Standing up to the mother-in-law from hell, an unlikely heroine proves that love can move mountains – or at least a tiny sliver of the universe.

Splendidly skilled, author Zenka Wistram builds an atmosphere of old folklore, drawing upon Irish, Scandinavian, and Native American mythology, creating an original, epic adventure, wholly her own.

Splendidly skilled author Zenka Wistram builds an atmosphere of old folklore in her new book. It has all the features one would expect from a fantasy novel, but it combines them with the qualities of the romance genre. She paints sensitive portraits of the main characters, who feel relatable and real. Already from the beginning, they feel like old friends. These are people you care about. There is magic, and fairies, a lovable shapeshifter, danger, and, of course, a villain. And a little bit of smut. Not too graphic, but still without being corny.
The story is precisely as enchanting as the title promises, and it leaves you with that happy, satisfied feeling. If you only read one book this year, let this be it. Or better still, why not give it to someone you like for Christmas?

Who would have thought that picking a little weed from the edge of someone's garden would spark a series of event that transports you into another realm? Yet this is precisely what happens to Amie Greene. The owner of the house is a ruggedly handsome but rude man who turns out to be...
oh, no, that you shall have to read the book to find out.

Action-filled yet charming, this story is something so unusual as a fusion of epic fantasy and quirky feel-good. For anyone who likes a good rom-com, it's a little gem in the fantasy genre.

A touch of Hamlet

A family at odds due to betrayal within, and a love that blooms in more than one world. The formatting is a bit odd, and occasionally made it difficult for my kindle
