A great quick read that brings perspective to all parts of our daily lives. I found myself seeing many similarities in the stories. This is the type of read you can reference again and again as a reminder that life comes at us all and it is about what we learn from our experiences that make us grow.
My thoughts are around the word REFLECTION, which is a consistent theme in the stories. Considering it to be an easy read, I started off reading at a brisk trot only to realize very early on that the deceptive simple words held deeper meanings that made you pause and look at one's own life through a different lens.
The stories make you realize that life is both simple and complex at the same time and each experience is itself a learning. My favorite story was "The Chosen One" because it resonated strongly on both levels; I was at the receiving end as well as giving the same advice much later in my career. The reflections occurred in many such stories within the book. Neema's insightful, practical, and often funny perspective on life and leadership is a joy to read. I have a new appreciation for the value of my experiences in shaping who I am.A worthy read; not just once!!!
