I read volume 2 to 8 on a plane so I don't remember exactly where one starts and the other ends so I am going to do a review for all the volumes. I like this story. Our FMC works hard but plays harder. She like lounging and that's it. She is not one to fill her free time with activities (other than drinking with co workers) She is a disaster at keeping house( I do kind of related like how do I make such a big mess so quickly??? I do try to clean up unlike her though), She is happy with her life but also gets caught up sometimes in outside voices. I like her boss he is a stickler for keeping the house clean and chores but he accepts her for her and gives her good advice. At first I didn't like that he was end game(still an assumption) but their friendship is growing so much I don't think I would mind anymore. I do like her young boyfriend and her best friend.

This is for sure light on the dramatics and big on the silly at parts. The art is nostalgic for me. She was a few years older than me at the time this came out but I related to her.
Some of the volumes are better than others but so enjoyable.

Sometimes I am very close to giving up this manga, but I can't. I like it. The only problem I have is Makoto. Maybe I dislike him because of the dorama (the guy who played Makoto was such an awful actor! One of the most robotic actors I've ever seen).

Finally Makoto knows Hotaru is living with Buchou and he is not happy about it. In fact, he reacts like the drama queen teenage boy he is and runs away. Hmph, sometimes he can be so immature

And Buchou has a tiny accident...
