I would be surprised if most people who read this book were actually able to apply it in their lives, largely due to the examples used. There are better ways to explain mental models, especially when applied to education, and much better ways to explain systems thinking using examples people can relate to.
I expected to read about structured thinking frameworks, to help organize your thoughts and help with problem solving and understanding and communicating complex concepts, etc.
This book offered something else. It discusses growth and closed mindset, biases in our thinking, and setting premises for successful argumentation. Not a bad book but was a different direction than what I expected, so the book did not fulfill my needs. I also find the title misleading
Fantastic book! It was a very interesting reading. The author teach how to think in models, to think critically and how to analyze situations better with better thinking. I enjoyed reading this book and I got many insights from this reading. I’m happy that I chose to read this book.
