I chose this book from the School Book Van when I was 5. Because I was a girl, I was given a note to take home to my parents to get permission for me to be given the book. Thankfully I was given permission and liked that book to death . I still have the battered torn book in a box in my garage . I would love to be able to purchase a new one to share with my one and only grandchild . Will have to search closer to home .
Very simple book made for very young audiences that just addresses different types of cars and trucks. Since this is an older book, there's some lovely gender roles (moms are getting groceries!) and a few references to things that I either don't know about or are no longer things that happen.
