I just opened it at random. (Or as near random as the universe allows.)

"Not only the kingdom of heaven is within, but the kingdom of hell. Whenever 2 or 3 are gathered together in the name of anything - God, the Devil, Newcastle United - something is liberated. Not only a Quaker meeting but a lynching mob provides strong evidence of this."

Single page reflections; human, funny, devastatingly serious, simple, profound. Rich. Humble. I could read it every day, and never tire of it.
The best guide I know to honest belief (which requires doubt if it is to remain belief rather than become a pretended certainty).
The best breakfast reading.
