Brand and Kaylea were destine and there is nothing in this world that can change the direction they are bound to.

Lucifer has a plan laid and set. Brand is sent to take care of the job he has waited 30 years to execute. All up to the point he sees her for the first time.

I think I just puked a little in my mouth. Life altering things happened WAY too quick and I couldn't stop rolling my eyes. It wasn't a bad story but it wasn't awesome. It made me notice typos and the word "babe" being used too much instead of being immersed in the story.
