Vampires, demons and witches! I love to write about these dark entities and the darker the better. My characters are plunged into worlds where they experience torture and mayhem, but even in a world of darkness, true love survives. I write both, sci-fi, contemporary and historical paranormal stories.

4 1/2 Stars!!

For adults only (18+ years old). Contains subject matter that may be offensive or a trigger for some, including adult language, steamy intimate scenes and violence (kidnapping, stalking, betrayal, assault, murder, etc.)

This is a standalone story that is part of the Zandian universe but is part of a new spinoff series about the Arian bear shifters. I highly recommend that the stories be read in order, as there are a lot of references made to prior scenes for the earlier series. My only complaint about the universe structure are the stories that are currently published as part of a different series (I believe it is called Magic New Mexico and it is not all of them, only one maybe two to date), and they are not enrolled in Kindle Unlimited so it is not possible for some of us to purchase currently.

This is the story of Walfea and Skye. Walfea is part of the security team on the Intrepid that recently landed on a unexplored planet and encountered an alien species supported by their enemies and who thought Arian bear shifters made for a great meal. While there, Walfea and his brother were captured and his brother was killed. Now he is on Earth taking a break while he tries to come to terms with his loss.

Skye is the lead singer of The Vandals, a popular rock band. She is being stalked and threatened by an ex-roadie of the band, who had kidnapped and tortured her previously. The band just finished their latest tour, and Skye is scared since Hector Savage was able to get away with everything he has done to her to date. So when her best friend offers the use of her family's cabin, she accepts. Walfea is staying on the property as the caretaker. When Skye arrives and is scared out of her mind by seeing a large white polar bear calmly sitting a d eating berries while out on a walk, Walfea knows his life will never be the same ...

I don't want to accidentally provide any spoilers so I am going to stop here.

I really enjoyed this story (currently my favorite from the series universe). It has a lot of action (physical, mental, and intimate), betrayal, loss, present ongoing danger, all while wrapped up in a mystery.

While this story doesn't have as many grammatical errors, they are still present, and at least one scene has an incorrect name. I was able to decipher the author's intent (or at least I believe I have), but I highly recommend all the stories be professionally edited for continuity, grammatical and missing words (i.e. it, but, and, as, one, etc.).

The Bear Shifter from Aria and his Human Rock Star Mate

Walfea is a polar bear shifter from the planet Aria, and looks like a Viking, is in security. After the loss of his brother on a mission, he has taken shore leave on Earth, trying to come to grips with his loss and the betrayal that caused it. While Earth is not part of the United Planet Confederation, it is protected by it. He has take a job as a care taker for a remote cabin in the mountains.
Skye is the lead singer for a popular rock band and has been dealing with a stalker. After he last concert he managed to get past security again and leave a threat. Her best friend sends her to her families secluded cabin.
Skye and Walfea don't get off to a good start. Walfea knows she is his mate, his people have never had human mates and he is not sure how to make her understand. Skye doesn't trust men, not after what her stalker did to her. Walfea is determined to protect her.
The are both suffering from the effects of their past traumas. Skye doesn't want to believe that someone close to her has betrayed her, even after her best friend is taken by her stalker to get to her.
Walfea is critically injured and the dying. Skye has to contact his Captain for help. To late does she realize she has put herself back in the hands of her stalker and that someone she loved as a brother has been working with him to get to her.
Good story. Whats not to like about a aliens solider, who looks like a viking and can turn into a polar bear. Skye often acted "to stupid to live". Her friend Sandra wasn't much better, though she did act like the abused women she had been for most of her life. A little steamy. Overall a good story. Three and a half stars.

Another fantastic paranormal shifter romance by M.L. Guida it’s a great story I enjoyed it immensely and I know you will too. Skye is the singer for the band The Vandal’s she is being stalked by a Hector Savage, no matter where she goes he always finds her so she contacts her friend Sandra who tells her that she has a cabin in the mountains and that she will be safe there so Skye packs and leaves straight away. Walfea is an alien bear shifter and the caretaker of Sandra’s cabin in the mountains, he has a haunted past and he’s hiding from his mistakes he just doesn’t believe in himself anymore so living in the mountains alone is the best thing for him. When he meets Skye he knows straight away that she is his mate but she is running away from something as well, now Walfea has has something to fight for and he’s determined to protect Skye no matter what he has to do. I loved this story and who wouldn’t want someone like him in their lives to protect, love and cherish them. A fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

A really good alien shifter romance. 💞🐻❤️️💞

Skye is the lead singer of a band but she's got a big solo problem. She has a vicious stalker after who has already gotten his hands on her once. Now she has the physical and mental scars from him and she knows she won't survive her next time with him. When her friend, Sandra, offers her family cabin with a caretaker to escape to, she takes the offer. That's where she meets Walfea, an alien bear shifter, who is recovering from the tragic loss of his brother while they were being held hostage. But Walfea knows that Skye is much more than a woman he's supposed to watch over.💗🔥💕

This is a well written and developed book that pulled me in with all of its twists and turns and held it there. I thought I knew who the stalker was a couple of times but I didn't see who it really was until the end. It had me on the edge of my seat!😍

Plenty of Action, Danger and Romance!

Lead singer Skye is being stalked by Hector Savage. Alien bear shifter Walfea has pledged to protect Skye who is his true mate. This story grabs the reader's interest right away. There is a mystery about who and why Skye is being stalked. Who is helping Hector stalk Skye? Does Skye know him or her? This stalking makes for lots of danger, action, and suspense. There's plenty of romance, too. I really enjoyed reading this book. It's an excellent start to a series. Grab a copy and enjoy!

Awesome!!

As I mentioned in my review of the first book in this series, they are definitely misnumbered. This should actually be the first book in the series with Vaughn following, and then Tash. And although I definitely enjoyed the whole series, there are spoilers in Vaughn's book that could definitely ruin your enjoyment of this book. I still definitely recommend you read the series, and hopefully some of you will actually pay attention to the reviews and read the books in the proper order. Mature eyes only due to hot 🔥 Bear Shifter/Human loving!!!

Sent from the stars

What a great beginning. The author really went the extra mile with these bears. I love that this series overlaps her dragon series. The bears are hot and alpha and the ladies are strong and willing to fight for their men. Well they might fight for them eventually, but they have to learn to trust first and that road may be longer than the men hope for. But like all good love stories they are sure to find their HEAs. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

This story centers on a sub character from the author's Dragons of Zalara series. Walfea is an Arian bear shifter from the starship Intrepid, who unexpectedly meets his mate, human rockstar Skye Carr who is in hiding from a crazy stalker. A thrilling storyline with a steamy romance. A very entertaining book!

I enjoyed this science fiction, rocker and paranormal shifter romance. This is a fairly quick read that was also very captivating and intriguing. Walfea and Skye, destined mates, are so perfect for each other. This is an action packed and fast paced story with strong characters. I thoroughly look forward to reading not only more from this writer but more in the "Bears of Aria" series.

Bears in space

Enjoyable tale, action and adventure.
But the editing let this story down.
She being stalked, it doesn't matter what she does or where she goes he finds her.
He captured her once , and knows she won't live in he catches her again.

Not bad

It would have gotten a five star, but bad editing really frustrates me. Missed words, words added that make no sense. It was a great story other than that. Looking forward to reading more of her books.
