A Quebeçois perspective on California life in the 80s. Satirical, steeped in irony, and even a bit cynical...accurate at times, though the narrator's eventual downfall is much less the fault of American society's materialism and violence (as the narrator depicts the world he encounters) and much more to do with his own constant search for self outside of himself!
