Eventhough this book was written in 1971, parts of it still hold up.
There is a good description of all the different types of the plague and how they are transmitted.
Some of the historical parts are ok, and some of the parts needed a bit more research.
It is also a good introduction for readers just starting to learn about how devastating a plague can be.
