I strongly recommend this book since it details the Noica/Pillat criminal trial, during the rule of communist party of Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej. It’s object was to “re-educate” the Romanian Intellectuals. Despite of the fact that the convicts were extraordinary personalities, this “made up” and unfair trial is not presented in schools and it is not known.
This book should be mandatory reading for lawyers, prosecutors and judges in Romania.
