Gunnar Kyle takes her job inside the VAC seriously. As the Hunter with the most closed cases, most kills, and most extractions, she's relieved after closing her own case. Now she's praying her life will return to as normal as one can have when your job involves hunting down rogues and exterminating them. As she adjusts to the Slither living inside her, Gunnar discovers these newfound powers are a valuable asset when it comes to closing the many case files she's assigned by Joe Glory and the VAC. When a sudden spike in Risers begins happening all over London, Gunnar enlists the help of Tamsin Waterhouse to unravel the mystery. The deeper they delve into what is happening, Gunnar realizes it may not be witches from the Necro or Diablo communities in the West End that are behind the strange happenings. Not only is there trouble brewing in the Fae community, there's a surge of risings that appear to be werewolf related, all with strange clan oriented tattoos. Gunnar seeks the help of Emmanuel Markum inside the Diablo community about the strange tattoos hoping he can provide her with Intel. However, something is strangely amiss with the Risers as Gunnar is forced to face the truth and the fact that Charlaine Tepes, a witch responsible for creating the fanger vaccine, might be behind some of what is happening in London. With time running out, and the Blood Tithe being held over Gunnar's head, she has to solve the case quickly before those she loves are drawn into her dark bargain with the Fae - where death is the only ending possible for all creatures that don't fit into the plans of the dark and mysterious Fae Queen known as Anwen.

This is book 2 of 3 in the Blood Tithe series; characters development continues with great suspense and lots of action. In the graveyard and in the bedroom. If you enjoy paranormal reads with a wide array of abnatural creatures and a genuine love story, you will love this book.
"Their numbers increasing exponentially as the clouds pull away from the full moon, allowing the silver rays to fall on their skins, evoking the shift. Screams fill the cold, nighttime air chilling me in a way not known possible."
"The only way to make sure a fanger is dead is to take the head."
"I exhale deeply, releasing part of me, part of my lifeforce into her, praying it will be enough to keep her until we can return to Algernon."

This is the third installment in Hargrove Perth's The Blood Tithe series, and things are getting intense! Someone is raising the dead in unprecedented numbers and it's up to Gunnar Kyle to find out who. She partners with Tamsin Waterhouse, a powerful Necro and Vampire to get to the bottom of things. London Noir meets Paranormal, as Perth weaves an incredible adventure. This is how it's done! All three of these books have had me on the edge of my seat. Now I can't wait for the next!

Night Moves is the second book in the "Slither" series, and it's even better than the first. The stakes keep growing for Gunnar Kyle, the strong, sexy VAC (Vampire Area Council) hunter. This time, she's teamed up with Tamsin, an unexpected partner, in her chase against someone who has decided to raise the dead. Action packed and a pager turner, you'll finish in one night. Ms. Perth has such a strong sense of story and character, you don't want her tale to end. The setting so original I can only call it Victorian Dystopia. I can't wait for the return of Gunnar (and especially my fav: Algernon) to return.

Perfect sequel!

Hargrove Perth knows how to pick up where she left off. I started this book as soon as I finished the first and was able to dive right back into the story. The characters keep developing and becoming ever more fascinating. The storyline compels you to dive deeper. I have developed a book crush. I can't wait to read the next in the series! Very much recommended!

Omgosh! This is so worth the 2.99. Gunner is on her game... The cover yet again is amazing, but the story is spectacular. It's action packed, fast paced full of suspense. I can't wait for another installment in this series.
