The Phoenix Girl is one inspirational story that questions a girl’s limits and explores her worldly challenges.
I believe in seeing with the mind , writing with the heart and living through others. This way I believe in living more life per life.
I believe in writing things simple and not simply. No matter what, every word ever written will resonate differently for different people based on their intelligence & imagination. My words are no exception.
I remember and quote the following words written by Author Ruskin Bond in one of his introduction.
Ruskin Bond
People often ask me why my style is so simple. It is, in fact, deceptively simple, for no two sentences are really alike. It is clarity that I am striving to attain, not simplicity.
‘When you talk you sound quite complicated,’ said a friend. And I had to explain that I’ve spent forty years trying to simplify my style and clarify my thoughts!
Of course some people want literature to be difficult. And there are writers who like to make their readers toil and sweat. They hope to be taken more seriously that way. I have always tried to achieve a prose that is easy and conversational. And those who think this is simple should try it for themselves.
“Sometimes we can only find our true direction when we let the wind of change carry us.”
I just love this book. While reading it, I felt I was travelling along with the characters.. It's really felt like, I was there and watching everything happens in the story. The plot line simple yet it's intriguing to read. Starting to end, it's such a engaging book to read.
“Life is what that happens to you when you are busy making other plans.”
This story is all about, meera, dee and pri. Meera, who is our main character and she is from small town and also she losted her father and now she is with her mom only. She is such good spirit girl who likes to explore new life and all. And she knows how to face obstacles that comes into her way. While searching for a stable job, she got placed in big company, which is located in delhi, now she needs to travel all the way from her home town. Her mother not happy with it though. I think every indian parent have this worry about sending their kids away from the job and studies and all. Same goes with meera's mother. But she convinced her mother somehow.
Now she is in delhi, she doesn't know that, what's coming in her way. There she meets Dee and Pri. Who are different from each other. They comes into meera' life like tycoon. With them, how she is going to face everything and how she is going to take care of her only family who is her mother.
I like this book though, it's very touching to read, a daughter who losted her father and widowed mother. It's not easy to lead the life she wants. But with everything going around her she stand like Phoenix bird, like rise from the ashes, she also do things like that. It's kinda gives motivation for the girls who are still struggling to face their fears. This book will give the guide of how to stand on your own and achieve our goals.
“Today, I realise I have already embarked on a journey with fragile wings, which I assume will get stronger with time and distance. I am not sure how far this flight will take me, but I am sure it will change my destiny when I reach the destination. With Luv, Meera"
I literally felt these lines! Isn't it exciting to have a fictional book written with a personal diary after the end of every chapter,I mean it's the collaboration of thoughts between the writer, the reader and the main character. Well flocks, presenting you with a fictional exciting novel-
Book: The Phoenix Girl (she is everything) Author: Santhosh sivaraj Page: 319 Language: English Genre: fiction
Insights: Coming from the chapter - She is a dreamer to She is the Phoenix Girl, I realised that I could connect with the book more and more. The story is simple yet interesting about Meera, the main character of the story, how Hailing from a small town, takes her first step towards her dream in a big city filled with strangers. The book speaks about women’s empowerment but not in the usual way, but rather through a story, a great one. Our lead Meera, has lost her father and stays with her mother until a job offer from Delhi comes to her. She mentions everything in her diary, which also plays an important role in the book. Apart from Meera, are two more characters in the story Dee and Pari, one too blunt for the world and one too sweet. They both play a role in Meera’s life and her decisions. Rest the book covers it all, the problems faced by women at the workplace, at home, in a new city, life in general, and still how women stand strong and face it all. The title phoenix is from the fact that the phoenix bird rises again from its ashes, and the fact that the book comes from a male author makes it so much better. She believes that her destiny deserves this place where her academic excellence and deep-rooted values will take her to newer heights. She starts sketching her future but little does she realise that life had other plans for her. She was pulled into the dangers of darkness, where her life came to a standstill. She was left all alone in the alien land with death staring right at her face. Just when she was about to give up, life tested her more. The Phoenix Girl is an inspirational story that questions a girl’s limits and explores her worldly challenges.
"Yes, I love myself, and I am enough for myself.” I loved how the book is portrayed.
This book is one of my favourites now and it is definitely a must-read, irrespective of your gender do give it a try. This book will not disappoint you. The book is engaging and intuitive. The best part is the unique cover of the book.
Meera, a small-town girl, gets a dream job in Delhi. Coming from a small town, she is reluctant at first but her mother convinces her to join. She believes that with her academic excellence and deep-rooted values, she is destined for success. But life had other plans for her. A tragedy strikes and all her dreams come crashing down. Unable to cope with her sorrow, she decides to end her life when suddenly she meets her two best friends; Dee, a blunt rebel, and Pari, a hopeless romantic. Will these girls help Meera out her life back together?
The Phoenix Girl is an inspirational story of overcoming tragedies, fighting injustice and prejudice, and facing the world on your own terms. The Phoenix in the title symbolizes the phoenix bird which dies and rises again from its ashes, representing a new birth.
The story is a personal journey of Meera and how she overcomes her personal tragedy. But the characters of her friends add a unique perspective. The book tackles some strong themes like abuse, exploitation, and male domination and explores many sensitive topics. The book sheds a light on the dark side of society where women are often exploited. From exploitation at workplaces to ill-treatment at home, this book talks about how women stand strong and face it all. The story takes some interesting turns and you are intrigued about where Meera’s journey of self-discovery will lead next.
The storyline is really unique and thought-provoking. The characters are very well written. The contrasting nature of her friends and the clash between the different personalities is nicely brought out. There is a big twist right at the end that will blow your mind; Though there are enough clues along the way if you are paying attention.
Overall, the book is a strong statement against the treatment of women by society at large. It will make you think, question the prejudices, and hopefully act against injustices around us. The language and writing style of the book is captivating. This is one story that you should not miss.
The story was gripping with the narration and the writing style. The characters are advanced and well-developed to give a complete deep picture of the story. The storyline gives weightage to the book and the plot was engaging to finish it though it was quite monotonous in between.
The main concept of the story was related to the title of the book. It was selected nicely but the cover could have been designed much better. The story of a small town girl and the life journey of her, many ups and downs, her struggles and survival has been narrated in a well manner and it was attached to the emotion of every reader.
The wonder in this book is or else I can frame like this that What I amazed by this book is How a man can narrate a life of a girl so easily in every aspects? and how he can make an attachment to the readers through the emotion of the protagonist? and he who is the author of this book, Santhosh Sivaraj. That itself an inspiration and motivation to all rather than the story of the book.
The most impressive part of the book is the way the author ends the story by writing a diary through which a message has been conveyed to each and every girl in this world by the protagonist.
While we end the book, an enthusiasm and inspiration will come to do something best in our life. We never wish to waste the time in our life from then.
This book will be a best gift to any girl and a man can present it to any occasion to any of her woman in his life after reading it.
The book reached me specially packed. I had the complete opposite feeling after reading the kind of book thought it might be. But in any case, the author's pen deserves praise. And it's a pity that I don't voice his description before reading this book because it greatly reduces my desire to read it. After reading the first two pages of this book, I got a distinct excitement that made me swallow the entire book.
Now coming to the storyline of this book. Meera a village girl who has spent her whole life there get a job offer from Delhi and she accepts it in hopes that it will provide for a better future for her and her widowed mother. Little does she know that this would prove to be the biggest decision of her life as it would majorly impact her life and talk her through a hole in life as she struggles to rise up from the bottom and stand on her won two feet again, in the process she encounters two girls dee and pari who also play a bog role in her journey, the story is of a women who chose not to succumb to the pressures of the world but face them head first and rise above them all.
Overall, the book is captivating and assures reader to finish it in one sitting. The language and writing style of the book is appreciable. Each and every words describing the emotions very well. The book has an appealing character to which one can connect. Grab your copy to know the more about the storyline.
What a book! To add to the fact that a male wrote this book, it's simply authentic and beautiful. Meera is a small town girl who moves to New Delhi for her job, living alone in the big city. She's met with a horrendous accident there; she's raped and is numb, confused, and questioning her existence. That's when she meets her old friends, Dee and Pari who are polar opposites of each other. The book is the story of Meera, where she's led, ruled, and dragged by her two friends. I had no idea I'd love this book so much. The writing is outrageously amazing and a fresh wave of class. It's not at all lucid, and is definitely some of the most impressive I've read in the past few months. The story is simple, painful, and makes you think. The story is more character driver than one might think, and that's the best part: you're not spoonfed anything, unlike the recent Indian fiction everyone is swooning over. The one thing that troubled me was the final sentence of chapter nine and the diary entry of chapter ten. It gave away a lot and suppressed one great ending for this book. It was simply because the plot was spoonfed and it just didn't sit right with the rest of the book. It's a great beginning of 2023 for me as my second book of the year was a 5 star. I hope I get to read more from Sivaraj.
The book blew me away for several reasons, firstly the book has a sweet back cover and the opening is really quirky and adorable. And just reading the index will tell you how lovely and fancy the book is going to be. A poignant emotion will be evoked and the beautiful description of the poignant language at every moment is capable of creating a situation in which any reader becomes enthralled.
Congratulations to the author Santhosh Sivaraj for writing a wonderful book which will not only keep you hooked till the last page, but also force you towards deep thinking. The concept of the book is interesting, engaging and unique. The way the author created the plots of the story is just amazing. The story and the narration is really fast paced. And the storytelling style is really amazing and it can make the readers totally engaged with the book.
It’s a unique book which revolves around a village girl Meera whose dreams are high shifts to Delhi to reach them. However, story is full of twist and turn. It's an optimum motivational story for a girl who is struggling in her life. This was a great read. I would like to recommend this book to my fellow readers. Reviews. I read this book to give my unbiased and honest review. Must recommend.
“Phoenix Girl: She is everything” written by Santhosh Sivaraj is a Inspirational fiction . The story is about Meera, a village girl who get a job offer and moves to the city, all alone she is faced with a lot of challenges and has to stand tall and face them. The book talks about all the problems . Meera faces at home, at the workplace and life in general. Along with this she also meets two other girls dee and pari who also play a major role in her journey
I really enjoyed this insightful book. It is so clearly and logically organised as well as being extremely readable. I have no authority to call the book bad. Because I was fascinated by the back cover of the book and it was the first time I got attracted to the name. Moreover, from the quality of the page to the description of the book, the author's choice of language, the specification of the language, the consonance of the language, everything has been shown to be skillful.
I would definitely recommend this book to everyone especially to those who love to read inspirational fiction stories. Grab the book, it won't let you to get bored at any point. This book is a page turner from beginning to end. Language is simple with a good vocabulary. Author has done a great job.
🌟Being a woman is not easy, being judged constantly for dressing style, behavior, things we do, opinions we put is not easy. Questioned for our every move is not easy. 🌟This book speaks about the issues faced by women very clearly. In this book the author has presented a story which revolves around lives of today's young women in this male chauvinist world. 🌟Our main protagonist Meera a young girl who was happy in her little world pampered and loved so much by her mother one day shifts to Delhi from a village for her new job. She was excited and nervous like every other girl who lands in a new place to start her career. As we all know life never happens as per our plans same thing happened with Meera. 🌟She faces an situation which she never anticipated. She had to suffer in an alien land filled with strangers. She had to deal with everything on her own until Dee and Pari are back in her life. 🌟Will these girls help her to come out of the darkness she is facing or would they make it more difficult for her ? 🌟All the characters are very interesting. The book clearly depicts the life of women and their sufferings . 🌟Overall a great work by the author. The story is remarkable and thought provoking. A must read for everyone.
A tale that is unique in itself and an experience that entangles a series of intriguing scenes. The author has weaved the plot of the book exceptionally well. .
A beautiful plot that you wouldn't realize what exactly is happening until the end. The protagonist, Meera was born and brought up in Vikramgad. When she gets an opportunity for a job, she has to leave her town. Though she wasn't happy, her mom Chandra gives her the courage to relocate. This book effectively brings out the character of Meera as a girl who finds herself as she comes face to face with the dark truths of life.
This novel, at this juncture takes a different turn when she meets her college/childhood friends Dee and Pari. While she was uncertain about how to face life, these two stood as rock-solid support for her. This isn't a usual story ,this gives a strong message to the women out there Revenge is sweet but one must understand that not everything would end up with this as it makes life, hell. The story has unexpected twists in the end which I am sure would surprise you. A novel worth your time and money.
Does a woman need a man to complete her or is she complete in herself? The book beautifully deals with this question as it breaks open the societal structure in which a woman is brainwashed to believe she needs a man to survive in this world. This book is not a feminist book, but it's more of a book that ascertains the importance of interdependence for life to move forward. It's about the self discovery of a woman where she realises she is complete in herself but she would like to be a wife and mother to experience life for what it is. I loved this book for loudly proclaiming a woman is a human. She is not born to satisfy a man by becoming a wife and bearing his children. She is born to live her life and in that life if a man is able to positively influence her she might think about setting up a home with him. The book forces you to question the institution of marriage as a compulsion for a woman and it makes that institution a choice for her and puts the onus on man to ensure she chooses it out of love rather than out of fear. Only then human race can have healthy and happy progeny.
This is a story of our protagonist Meera who is a small town girl moving to Delhi for more carrier opportunities leaving behind her widowed mother. But when she enters a big down she faces a harsh reality of life that not everything in life is beautiful. There are struggles that she comes face to face with and there are situations where she faces even death threats. But she had her pals Dee and Pari who are there to support her. How does she come out of that situation and how she is born like a Phoenix - rising out of ashes is what we get to see in this book.
I loved the mother daughter bond shown in the story. The way her mother made her choose her carrier and growth over her and the way she supported and encouraged her in all adversities made her a beautiful character. The book is written in a simple and easy to understand language and the story flows smoothly. We can also find many inspirational quotes and situations in the book which helps us understand that no matter what the situation is - we can fight it and emerge out stronger. Beginners looking for motivational and emotional reads can surely try this one.

There comes a point of time in each and everyone's life when they feel the need for things to change or get some new and different experiences.
Hence, after leading a specific kind of lifestyle for a while, especially after reaching a certain age, sooner or later, anyone will probably find themselves getting somewhat stuck in a rut.
Our main protagonist, Meera, from the book, ‘Phoenix Girl: She is everything’ by author Santhosh Sivaraj was someone who was of the same belief and hence wanted to move out and explore the realm of new possibilities.
However, things do not go the way she wants, and it leaves her feeling like everything was over, but instead of staying down, we see how she takes charge and the way she tackled everything was such a pleasant journey to witness.
The book shows us that how if we put our mind to it, there is nothing that is impossible and all the problems are just temporary, so instead of letting bad things get to us, we should look on the positive side.
Also, the emphasis on how people have the power to affect our life, and those close to us can leave a positive impact was also seen. Hence I am going to give this FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Review: In the story we follow Meera, a simple introvert girl. Meera got a job in an IT company in Delhi, but she isn't as much enthusiastic as her mother about it. She doesn't want to leave her comfort home and her mother alone. But after a long contemplation she decides to take it as she with the hope and "promise to add more colours to it before pulling my mother with me on a glorious journey. I promise this beginning will witness the end of our struggles."
But her life turns in different directions, and there's so much more in the story of Meera that only you can discover after reading it fully. And it's great to follow her, fighting her obstacles.
It's an amazing story, and great to follow Meera in her journey, her character in the story feels more relatable. What makes the book and Meera's pov more interesting is her diary entries.
In the book the author through the simple, flawless narrating style, beautifully portraits mother-daughter relationship, all the problems a girl suffers from the society and how she navigates those challenges. The book also has good pace.
So overall an amazing story that I would definitely recommend.
Pheonix Girl by Santhosh Sivraj is an exceptional story of a girl to explore her limit and faces the challenges that turned her life of side down leaving nothing but good hearty experience. Meera is a girl from small town moving into the big city for her dream. The first job placement she gets fueled by her mother's encouragement. With her job opportunity her mother sees herself in her daughter thus encourages her to take the leap in life and do what she loves to do but somewhere the guilt and fear to leave her mother alone was eating her up. As the time goes she accepts the reality and comes to live with it. But life has different plans for her. Her life gets messed up and in chaos when she met "Dee -a blunt rebel and pari- a hopeless romantic person" with them bieng her side nothing seems to be more harmless. What will happen when this two girls will add fuel to the fire?
The language of the book is simple. Each chapter will hook you up and inspire you to read ahead. One of the read I did in one sitting after so long. Loved the book cover as it clearly matches the theme of the book so well. Would love to recommend this to everyone.
Firstly, huge respect and great appreciation to the author Santhosh Sivaraj making such a series of masterpiece. A reader can get lost in the story. The storyline is different and unique. The author's technique of raw, magnetic characters and great plotlines is a gift. It's a great book to follow and try to figure out what will happen next. Definitely an unpredictable book something unique, my favorite kind!
Overall, I loved the book and strongly recommend fellow readers to give it a try. And lastly, I'd thank the man who edited this cover, else it would have taken more or less months to come across the read, post finishing the other books of my collection.
Reviews. I read this book to give my unbiased and honest review. Must recommend.
I loved how the book is portrayed. The book speaks about women’s empowerment but not in the usual way, but rather through a story, a great one. Our lead is Meera, she has lost her father and stays with her mother until a job offer from Delhi comes to her. She mentions everything in her diary, which also plays an important role in the book. Apart from Meera, are two more characters in the story Dee and Pari, one too blunt for the world and one too sweet. They both play a role in Meera’s life and her decisions. The book covers it all, the problems faced by women at the workplace, at home, in a new city, life in general, and still how women stand strong and face it all. The title phoenix is from the fact that the phoenix bird rises again from its ashes, and the fact that the book comes from a male author makes it so much better. This book will be one of my favorites now and it is definitely a must-read, irrespective of your gender do give it a try. This book will not disappoint you.

She has lost her father and stays with her mother until a job offer from Delhi comes to her. She mentions everything in her diary. The diary notes in between the story was something I personally loved!!
The story is very compelling. The characters are very well developed throughout the story. The plot is captivating with adventure and which keeps you turning the pages.
I would always love reading stories with a strong female lead, who falls down at times but stands up stronger.
The entire novel is penned in simple languages, making it engrossing from the very first page. Also the cover of the book is beautifully designed that evokes readers interest.
I appreciate how the author presented everything with a strong sense of creativity. Must read for everyone.📚✨
The writer has worked really hard of making a grasping story that keeps the perusers stuck to the page. The characters are advanced and the story takes the peruser on a close to home rollercoaster of an excursion.
Meera, a young lady from a little town Vikramgad, ventures out towards her fantasy in a major city, Delhi, loaded up with outsiders, yet she had no clue about that life had different designs for her She was maneuvered into the risks of obscurity, where her life ground to a halt. She was abandoned in the outsider land, and when she was going to surrender, life tests her more as two young ladies. Dee, an unpolished revolutionary, and Pari, a miserable heartfelt.
Generally speaking, the book is charming and guarantees peruser to complete it at a time. The language and composing style of the book is considerable. Every single words depicting the feelings well overall. The book has an engaging person to which one can associate. Get your duplicate to discover the more about the storyline.

The author has beautifully explained about Meera’s mother Chandra. How she left her career for sake of marriage. Chandra and Meera were two woman from different generations sharing their stories to teach each other bout reality and lives of woman in a world run by men. Meera
Author used beautiful quotes in beginning of each chapter. Also he has done written Meera and Chandra’s emotion beautifully. My favourite part is the conversation between Meera and Chandra. It is so relatable.

Name: Phoenix Girl: She is everything Genre: Thriller, Story. Book length: 319 pages.
This is the story of Meera a small town girl living with her mother. One day Meera has an opportunity to complete her dream for which she has to move to a City far from her hometown. At the start of her journey she felt nervous and gave up on her dream. That time her mother motivates her and her journey begins. Meera was all alone in this new city. As Meera has a friendly nature she made few friends. As Meera starts to work at her office she has a glimpse of the corporate world. She has no experience in this world. How women are exploited. This is the story of Meera how she manages to emerge like the phoenix bird who emerged from the fire.
Wow! What a book. My mind is severely reeling after finishing it. I couldn't have believed in my wildest fantasies that Dee and Pari were not real but mere imaginations of Meera. The way they are portrayed—every action, every emotion—it was all too real.
My favourite words from the book were:
"My softness has been mistaken for vulnerability, yet I came back strong every time to tell them that they can't make me feel inferior without my consent.”
"Do you believe this society looks at a male’s anger and a female’s anger the same way?" This bloody society is trained to associate anger with unattractiveness in a woman. "She can’t express herself as a real person, as she is merely a decoration in this world of men.”
I think the author did justice to all his characters. They were all too different, yet so similar.
I am in love with this book. I would like to recommend it to all book lovers.

Book name: Phoenix girl - “SHE” is Everything Author: Santhosh Sivaraj
This book has 319 pages and 10 chapters. I loved the way the author named every chapter and the addition of awesome quotes at the beginning of each chapter. My favorite one is “Life is what happens to you when you are busy making other plans” -Allen saunders The story revolves around the main character Meera who arrives in Delhi in search of her dreams. All the unexpected things that happen in her life and how she deals with them alone in a big new city is interesting to read through. The author did an amazing job in writing this book overall. The language is simple yet very intriguing. The book is engaging and entertaining throughout. I loved the book cover very much. It is really pretty and suits the story very much. Do give this book a try guys.
Meera, a minuscule-town girl reaches Delhi to consummate her dreams and ambitions. As she leaves for the immensely colossal city, I could relate to her emotions while leaving her mother and profoundly relished ones behind. She was forsook in the outsider land, and when she was going to surrender, life tests her more as two adolescent ladies.
The Phoenix Girl is an inspirational story of surmounting tragedies, fighting iniquity and prejudice, and facing the world on your own terms. The Phoenix in the designation designates the phoenix bird which dies and elevates again from its ashes, representing an incipient birth.
The story was prehending with the narration and the inscription style. The characters are advanced and well-developed to give a consummate deep picture of the story. The storyline gives weightage to the book and the plot was engaging to culminate it though it was quite monotonous in between.
