Vampires, demons and witches! I love to write about these dark entities and the darker the better. My characters are plunged into worlds where they experience torture and mayhem, but even in a world of darkness, true love survives. I write both, sci-fi, contemporary and historical paranormal stories.

4 Star Madness
She’s being accused of committing a crime spree but Gwen Black knows that she didn’t do it! To prove her innocence she must determine how she came to be in this magical place. Struggling to control his shapeshifting abilities, the last thing Theo wants to deal with is a beautiful thief who is persisting that she is innocent even though he has proof.

This paranormal romance is cute, charming and exciting. The characters are strong, magical and easily enthrall readers as they try to discover the truth behind the crimes and try to fight their magnetic attraction. The relationship is self is sweet, full of sizzling chemistry and electrical spark, while the plots is fast paced and full of charm and excitement, the story could benefit from a bit longer as it over way too quickly. Lots of magical mayhem in a quirky, fun small town adds zest to the delightfully spunky dragon shifter romance.

Theo tossed and turned in bed, dreaming the dream he had always dreamed of dragons flying above that he could never join or they would disappear. If he could reach the castle, he knew he would get answers, but as soon as he reached it, he woke up tangled in the sheets. But this time a guard stopped him and led him to Queen Cosima of the Dragons. She told him he bore the mark of the Bravian dragon, orange and yellow dragons that protect and defend their homes and their soulmates. He will mate with her for life and cannot be with anyone but his soulmate. His mate is in danger; if he cannot gain her love, he will lose control of his dragon and hurt those he loves. He saw her in a swirling tunnel, dressed as a pirate and churning around in a circle as if trapped in a portal. Then he woke up in his bed.

Gwendolyn Black pushed through the jungle, having to hold her ears when a loud shriek sounded above her. The ground rumbled and her brother, Leif, stumbled into her and knocked her to the ground. She didn’t want any more surprises, not since discovering her brother was a fire-breathing dragon AND a vampire! They were both on a mission to save Isabella and avoid the ruthless demon Zuto. But Zuto caught up to them and his spider, as large as a carriage, grabbed Gwen, spun around on the beach and created a tunnel into the earth. Gwen fell through the tunnel, her body feeling icy cold patches as if someone were painting her skin with ice, then she continued falling through clouds and crashed on the ground. A woman told her she would take her to the Sheriff to convince him to return the witch’s wand he locked away or else Gwen’s “other half” – whatever that meant – would die! Then Gwen lost consciousness.

Theo got a call from Pandora that her furniture store had been robbed. He gathered evidence, then they went to look at the security footage. He was immobilized – it was the woman the Queen showed him in his dream, the one she said was “not whole”! She brazenly looked into the camera, sneering as if she didn’t care that they could see her. All he wanted was to kiss her lips and claim her!

Martin called him to report there were 5 more robberies – and all the security footage showed his pirate responsible for each one. What would he make of the fact that his pirate was, in fact, two people? Gwen needs both her good and her bad selves brought together as one within two days or she dies. And if Gwen dies, Theo’s dragon will go berserk and destroy everything around them!

This is an exciting story from the Magic, New Mexico, series. I thoroughly enjoy these! A clever story line and great characters will keep the reader intrigued from start to finish. Grab your copy and see whether Theo and Gwen can make her whole in the allotted time to save the town! And there is more action than this within these pages – so don’t delay! You’ll enjoy this one!

Theo has been having dreams every night of dragon’s flying around chasing each other breathing fire he heard his name being called the female said that he needs to get to the castle so he ran as fast as he could and he was taken to the Queen Cosima who told him a little bit about his past but she told him that he needed to find his soulmate or his dragon would go mad and hurt people she showed him what his mate looks like then Theo woke up. Gwen and her brother Leif were hiding from Zuto but he knew that they were both there, Gwen saw a giant spider standing next to Zuto and Gwen is deathly afraid of spiders so she ran but the spider wrapped her in its web then it took her and spat her out and she went through a freezing tunnel then she was falling through the clouds straight for the ground. When Gwen landed a woman was standing there she threatened Gwen that if she doesn’t get what belongs to her from the sheriff then her other half will die. Fantastic story I love all of the Magic New Mexico stories and all of the amazing details in these stories and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

This is the worst Magic, New Mexico novella I’ve read. It’s about Gwen, who had an evil witch split her from herself and they had to put her back together or both halves would die. It was not only silly it was so boring I kept falling asleep while I tried to read this. I would have to pass on anything else by M.L. Guida.

In fact, I may have to give up completely on this series. It’s gone from good stories to stories that are short and centered mostly on sex. As I’ve said before, I like sex in a novel but a novella is just too short for that. You lose something in telling the story if you have to find room for pages of sex.

Oh, and Theo and Gwen had exactly 2 days to fall in love. And, guess what? They did.

It was nice to see Topper again. She’s my favorite character in the series.

I did listen to this through TTS and it wasn’t half bad, for listening to novellas.

Becoming Whole

Touch of Madness brings us back to Magic New Mexico where we encountered sheriff Theo in the book Touch of Darkness. Well now we are getting part of his story.

Without giving spoiler about the book lets just say Theo and Gwen will have a fight on their hands to protect themselves and the town of Magic with only two day to do it in.

The story was very fluid in its writing with nary a hiccup in the story line to keep the interest of the reader. At less than 100 pages the author kept the story centered on the main characters and the protagonist beautifully. The potential for a new book may dealing with Hera and Damon may be in future works.

Overall, the book left me with a complete feeling of satisfaction after reading it.

I liked this story. This is part of a Kindle World. Apparently, certain authors that write this genre are invited to write a story for this place and time and it is expected to contain certain elements. ML Guida wrote Theo's story. Theo is a dragon shifter sheriff in Magic, New Mexico. It is his time to meet his soulmate. She is an unexpected surprise. Her name is Gwendolyn and she is a pirate from the 17th century. How she gets there and what happened to her during her travel is part of the story. The shapeshifter deputy was funny. There is a lot going on but, not so much that you can't keep up. This can be read as a stand-alone book however, you will enjoy the rest of the series. It is truly eclectic.

I am loving Magic, New Mexico and the ties it has to the dragon world. This is not the first time the time spider sends a pirate from the 1700s to Magic. This time, a trouble making witch, Hera, tries to get her way by splitting our pirate in two. Gwen is on the demon's island trying to help her brother and gets sent to modern day Magic, New Mexico. Hera casts a spell to split Gwen into two separate beings. Theo and Gwen must put her back together before both halves fade away. Topper is there with her special brand of magic and it is both funny and chilling. Maybe if he's lucky Theo will not only get his mate but information on where he comes from and who his family is. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.

I thoroughly enjoy the Magic, New Mexico books and am delighted to see dragon shifter Sheriff Theo find his mate in this one. Although you could probably read this as a standalone, it is probably best to read the one just prior to this so you know the various characters. Gwen is thrown here from the 17th century where she was a pirate. Unfortunately things don't go smoothly for her and when she and Theo meet he arrests her. Of course with this being Magic, there will be magic involved - good and evil. They get their HEA but for Theo to find all the information he seeks we'll have to wait with him for a future book.

A pirate’s life for me

What a saucy tale of demons, spiders, witches, pirates and dragons. Once again this author has taken us on a time hop to Magic, New Mexico where the people are straight out of a fairytale. This time one of the residents is up to no good on a grander scale than normal. It might take a while for the sheriff to figure it out, but when he does he finds his own HEA. This author is so good at pulling us right into her stories until the very end. I hope the next book is just as exciting and engaging.

Theo was a good man...as sheriff of Magic, New Mexico he keeps the peace...even if when he gets mad he turns into his Dragon which can be messy. Gwen is a pirate lady who was fighting with her brother against a demon! Next thing she knows she's falling through a wind tunnel pushed by a very large spider! The storyline is good, got laughs...some kinda sad times..but most of all good characters that keep you interested in the story.

This Dragon is Mine?

Loved the story of how Gwen and Theo got together. It answered questions from other books about Gwen's arrival. I just wish I would have read this book before reading Magic, New Mexico: Touch of Darkness! LOL But I still understood everything and still loved the characters and it even made me laugh with the crazy deputy deciding to be a mummy for the day.

Wowed! The dragons of a Lara cross over to Magic, Mexico in the form of Theo, the town Sheriff. Just like Cé, his mate is a pirate from from the past who came to the future because of the spider. But the pettiness of one witch wrecked havoc in their life, or should I say love life.

Magic

I love delving into the lives of the people of Magic, New Mexico.
A young woman is flung through time and space to land in the desert.
A witch with an axe to grinds puts a spell on her.
The hunk of a dragon, sheriff of Magic, arrests Gwen for robbery.
Now all she has to do is prove she's innocent.
Great series.

I loved it! I'm a little short on time. I was trying to do this in a car on my phone & gave up, so I'm 4 books behind. I just love all the stories, they just keep me glued to them until the end. Then I am reaching for the next one.

Loved this

I love every book so far in this series. Now I will have to wait for prices to go down to get more. Each story has its own twists and I love that. I also love hearing about the characters from the other stories. So thank you, I am enjoying these books.

Poor Gwen is divided into two, a good half and an evil side. She doesn’t feel it’s her but an imposter. A fairly short interesting read, that I received as an ARC
