Their Obsession

Rate this book
When Jayde returns to Hickory Falls to settle her grandmother’s estate she finds a mystery and a destiny she's not sure she wants. It starts with an antique puzzle box with a necklace and a note that only says Beware of the Obsession. It also includes a bakery everyone is anxious to see reopened despite her inability to cook, and a pair of hunky, too-good-to-be-true tenants living in the same building.

Marc and Anthony are lovers waiting on their third to complete them, the Guardian they have sworn to protect. When Jayde finally arrives they are anxious to get her into their bed…until they see the necklace around her neck. It serves a powerful warning to them -- and to her if she knows what it means. Now they have to take things slow, seducing her before they reveal the duty she has been called for.

When the Guardian denies her calling, the protectors will do anything in their power to convince her, but in the end it has to be her choice. Free will is a bitch, but so is their obsession with Jayde.

Please note: This book was previously published as Obsession of Jayde and has been edited and changed for re-release.

Read for WeLoveKink.com Part of a 10 book bundle Curves For Him

I've read more than a few from Eliza Gayle and she never fails to be amazing! Some people can take the unknown and roll with it, others will have to be hit over the head before believing. Fate... destiny.. is what the world is made of. As it was mentioned there always must be a balance and free will.
Jayde will have to learn for herself that things are not just black and white but shades of mulit-color. What makes me want to just smack people.. is the fact they either wait too long or never tell the “secrets” that should be revealed.
Marc and Anthony are guardians and lovers, they've waited quiet a while for their girl to show up and when she does they may lose her to her own stubbornness.
This quick little read moves fast... the plot.. the relationship, the love making. Even as fast paced as it was I still found myself engrossed well to the end. Loved the characters, Marc the Dominate one, Aiden the calm one and Jayde the gifted one. All has a purpose and on short time to come together and make it work. Marc's pushing though may just push Jayde away, Aidens soft touch may have Jayde sink deeper in disbelief... and Jayde own “if I cant ouch it, its not real” may just be the darkness' way to get in and shift the balance. It doesn’t seem to be a series.... no cliff hangers... a good book to enjoy.

A short, but very fulfilling erotic paranormal read. I would take these two guardians even without the sweet side of fudge any day! Great characters and vivid detail that puts you right in the pages.

Jayde enters a new world and a new life due to her grandmothers passing and all that she has inherited. Little does she know that she is also taking one more than the responsibility of her grandmother bakery and estate. But the magical adventure of protecting the beautiful antique necklace that she has been wearing and the world as she knows it. The necklace's release from its confines is setting everything off balance. The only way for it to be set to rights is with the assistance and persuasion of Mark and Aiden, the two hunky guardians. Now it's on them to convince Jayde of the truth in more ways than one for Jayde is not a woman easily convinced. Especially when it comes to the attraction she feels towards both Mark and Aiden.

There is much more that occurs within the story. A perfectly paced escape for any paranormal/erotica fan.

For those wondering why not 5 stars. The reason is there was one end left untied. It did not take away from the story, but left me wondering...

I enjoyed this book. Her grandmother passed and she inherited some things that she didn't understand because she never came to visit her. She didn't read the note her gran left her concerning it because she got caught up in the obsession. She was unwilling to listen to her guardians advice because she was afraid of losing their love and hot sex. I thought it was a very goaod read.

Their Obsession by Eliza Gayle

This book was a good short read 81 e-pages though the end was too rushed. The plot was good enough that if it had been explored in a full length novel would have been more satisfying.

This book had a lot of potential, but it just wasn't as detailed and full as it should have been. It ended way too abruptly.
