Bernard & His Dad
Come and join Bernard Jeremiah Johnson Jr., better known as BJ, as he begins his wonderful adventure of growing up. BJ lives with his dad, Bernard Jeremiah Johnson Sr., and his best friend Fred Miller lives right next door. Often BJ and Fred sit up all night talking to each other through their bedroom windows. Lately they've been talking about the two prettiest girls at Truman Elementary, Alicia Cagswell and Natalie Hunter. Well, this Saturday is Alicia's Cagswell birthday, and she's having her first girl/boy party. BJ and Fred are not very excited about going to some frilly girly party. That is, until BJ's dad explains the advantages of being nice to girls. Finally the two boys decide to go to Alicia's party, and even though it is Alicia's birthday, BJ and Fred are the ones who get the birthday surprise. Now they look at girls in a whole new light.
