by A.L. Kessler

Delve into the vampire world and uncover Agent Abigail Collins' mysterious past in the new spin-off of the Amazon best-selling Here Witchy Witchy Series. Blood-starved vampires, zombies, and brotherly-hate. Levi’s territory is quickly becoming the scene for out of control vampires. When zombies and blood-starved vampires start showing up, it becomes clear that Ira is around, and he has his sights set on Abigail. Using a pawn within PIB, Ira brings Abigail further into the world of vampires and pushes Levi toward a choice he doesn’t want to make. It’s time for the King of Vampires and the council to make a decision about Ira and how to handle him. The number of blood-starved vampires and attacks are growing. Soon the monsters will make their way into the human world, and it’s up to them to stop Ira. Consequences and sacrifices be damned.

I just read the Initiative by AL Kessler. I loved this book. In this book you also learn the name of Levi's maker and meet Mario. If you have ever read any of her Here Witchy WItchy books, https://www.amazon.com/More-Black-Mag... you will love this new series as it tells Levi's story which is fascinating watching come to life, so to speak, lol. the first book is The King's Gambit, https://www.amazon.com/Kings-Gambit-G...… the second book is The Initiative https://www.amazon.com/Initiative-Kin...…

Enjoyable

I am reading these after Abigail books. It is basically the same story from the vampires perspective and at this point Abigail is pretty oblivious to most of that world. In Abigail's world she has just broken up with Simon. Interesting but at times a little repetitive.

This is not a stand alone series. These are basically a look behind the scenes of the “vampire business” Abby is always told to steer clear of. I imagine without reading the original series Levi’s POV would amount to a big bore.
