Si conoces al señor Ohnet (Philippe Derblay/Amor y Orgullo), cada vez que coges uno de sus libros, sabes que vas a tener culebrón del bueno. Este librito es sumamente entretenido, y te lo leerás muy rápido, pero no te sorprendan los comportamientos de otra época, y tampoco esperes una historia de amor. Esta novela trata de la amistad y la redención, de lo que se hace por los amigos y por malvados que hacen lo que sea por hundir a sus enemigos, maltratan mujeres (mujeres que pese a amar a un hombre, son presas de los celos y la codicia) y con temas, claramente dichos sobre lesbianismo, violencia, abuso de drogas y más, están aquí dentro. No te sorprendas con este libro de aventuras, y déjate llevar por una historia de otra época, en la que todo es "culebrón". No es de una gran calidad, pero sí bastante entretenido.

If you know Mr. Ohnet (Philippe Derblay), every time you take one of his books, you know you're going to have a soap opera. This book is extremely entertaining, and you will read it very fast, but do not be surprised by the behaviors of another era, and do not expect a love story. This novel deals with friendship and redemption, what is done by friends and wicked men who do anything to plunge their enemies, mistreat women (women who despite loving a man, are prisoners of jealousy and greed) and with themes, clearly said about lesbianism, violence, drug abuse and more, are here inside. Do not be surprised with this book of adventures, and let yourself be led by a story from another time, in which everything is "soap opera". Not a great quality, but rather entertaining.

Una historia clásica, una especie de thriller donde dos amigos buscan la liberación y salvación de un hombre acusado falsamente de un asesinato. El inicio para mi fue un poco confuso y lento, aunque la verdad creo que la traducción no es la mejor y es algo que influye; la segunda parte del libro es bastante entretenida, rápida, con giros y avances emocionantes de la trama, y de la vida de los protagonistas, el desenlace no me gustó tanto, yo le habría dado otro final al villano.
