Had a skim through this. Apparently this is THE introductory book for US Air Force cadets. But I'm not one...so just picked this up for fun. I think the purpose of the book is to introduce the contemporary paradigm to military strategy. The book does what it says it wants do - talks about models to guide military thinking to any given problem. So the 2 star review is more a reflection of me and me going into it rather than the book itself. I think I'm just looking for a book discussing strategy from a tactical perspective. But this book has heaps of references at the end of each chapter - and learning review questions if you're into that (which is pretty cool).
