Spirituality of a Quilter

Rate this book
Sr. Dorothy's latest book on the spirituality of a quilter is designed to be read and reflected on one block at a time. The book is broken into two parts - the first part contains quilt blocks with reflections, a psalm or a passage from Scripture and then an unfinished prayer. The second part has quilt designs from the Underground Railroad with a short explanation and prayer. If we look at our lives as a quilt, and think of God, not only as our Quilt Maker, but also as the thread who weaves together the pieces of our lives, we can choose to let God work with us, or we can try to do it alone. We work together and share our life experiences as we quilt. This not only strengthens our relationships with others, but also deepens our relationship with God.
