Animals in Glass: A Murano Bestiary

This book is the catalogue for the exhibition called Animals in A Murano Bestiary, or the Murano Zoo. It was held in Venice, Italy, at the Palazzo Ducale, from June through October 1996. The catalogue contains full-page and double-page, close-up photographs of individual animals from the Mary Boydell collection. Editor Marina Barovier's husband, Marino, curated the exhibition, which included most of the glass animal sculptures made in Murano between 1920 and 1970.
