Battle of the Gods

This book had an extremely original plot, and the author's writing style and presentation of story were unique and appealing. Some very big Ideas here of Gods, their societies, and Wars for and of them.

Sheer quality

Even if it weren't an awesome story, with all the elements of the very best science fiction (but it is), I would still insist that you read this book for the sheer quality of the writing alone. What a pleasure!
