This was a thought provoking read. I agree with Rev. McElvaney's premise that churches need to be involved in justice Seeking. I disagreed with some of the causes he felt were important as part of justice seeking.

As chair of the Church and Society committee at my church this was an important read as we work to continue to encourage and challenge our congregation to more justice minded. I found the "case studies" in the last chapter helpful though I wish there had been a bit more how-to (what to consider, suggestions for building energy in congregations, etc.)
