This was such an amazing story that once I started reading I couldn't stop. I enjoyed Caitlin and Katch together. I love their banter back and forth. This book had lies, betrayal, danger, lust and love everything that I love in a book. I can't wait until the next book comes out.

I liked this, I really did but I didn’t honestly always know why...
Ok, I have question, are all of Ms. Bellus’s H’s a strong but Hot,hit mess or is it just the booms I’ve come across ?
This is my second book to read from Ms.Bellus and while loved the inner strength of both her H’s and h’s , all coming for horribly complicated and messed up backgrounds yet some how believable in the crazy day and age( maybe not crazier than any other age,just we know more) the men to me , while big tough phases types sure are soo incredibly F’ed up,I’m not sure what to think of them... They seem both incredibly weak and incredibly strong all the same time,and in such extreme ways, they leave me not knowing wether to laugh at them or or cry for them ,hug them or hate them but I aways, away wanna hit them upside the head wanting to knock some sense into them....
J.j. Was the first H I read about in “Whiskey & You”, and while he had most of the sand issues as Katch here I liked him better...
J..j. had all same faults to the point you think he and Katch were either related or the same person only unlike Katch he was better at admiring them and asking forgiveness ...
And while two huge themes here of redemption and forgiveness are very important,especially forgiving ones self,do our men need to be soo freaking flawed ?
Katch drinks,smokes ( pot and cigarettes) drinks whisky like its water and supposedly when he’s not planing out or killing someone he needs to be inside a woman and just any wet and willing hole will do,even after he’s started to lust after the heroine ...
For me that’s cheating ... period full stop.. when the mc’s meet and start to lust for the other I. Don’t. Want. To. See. Them. With. Anyone. Else!
At least J.j. Learned his lesson the first time,apologized just because he felt was the right thing to do not because he had to, Katch in the other hand hurt the Caitlin when she sees him w/his cock in a woman’s mouth in his living room just moments after he’s brought her into his house and then takes off when she’s not willing to listen to him as fast as he wants... Then,then while he’s gone and his pride is hurt,he picks up two easy skanks and has them both just to prove he can do what he wants, like some sad immature child...
This took him down in my eyes.... I loved Caitlin and Katch together ( they have a hot and amazing chemistry) ,I never got the whole “when opposites collide” tagline because they are soo much alike it’s funny, both broken and hurting needing to heal and both soo stubborn they could give stubborn lessons to a mule!
But while Caitlin is soo seriously F’ed up from her past, th snell of apple lotion or shampoo almost makes her catatonic,she still doesn’t need,whisky,weed,sex like water to get thru a day...
I loved these to together but how am I supposed to respect a man who barely gets things started with a woman when he cheats on her ( and since Caitlin didn’t know about the two women Katch never said or apologized ) ( even though he’s barely back home when he’s having her on the floor ( no matter the reason ) after those skanks w/out a condom) and can’t get thru a day w/ out weed or a whole bottle of whisky and F’ing anything that moves ?
How seriously? Addictions aren’t sexy, especially at these levels....
This story is weird for me , I loved the intensity and the chemistry and the connections and the excitement, but while I don’t believe perfection At. All..
I can’t like them as much as I’d like to because I don’t respect them ... least not Katch,he might be perfect in his way for Caitlin but she deserves a better man...
I’m returning this via KU but I bought this in a box set because I want to read more about the others, I just hope t cheating doesn’t always “have to happen” and the MC’s hurt at the end of the story just like they have in both of these...
Almost exactly the same... J.j. And Navy very close to this at the end... Kitchen scene...

I absolutely loved how the cover actually depicts a scene from the book.
The other characters of the book had strong personalities that made me want to get to know them better. I really think #DrHotPants has a story that needs to be told (fingers crossed)!

Oh yes this is my kind of romantic suspense! A brooding anti-hero and a sassy heroine. Some dark elements but more suspenseful and plenty sexy.

Another wonderful collaboration between Kathy and Heidi!!!
It was filled with twists and turns. An amazing connection between two opposites. And collide they did when they stopped fighting it. The plot twists, and outdoor fun made for an entertaining read.

Caitlin is one strong stubborn woman. Katch is one strong pigheaded man. They both have a bunch of baggage. Love the love hate feelings they have got each other. Could not wait to see what they would do next

Loved it!
Loved everything about this story, the storyline, characters, twists and turns. Caitlin has dealt with an over abundance of stuff throughout her life, turning her into someone she doesn't recognize. Meeting Katch and their evolving relationship helps to shred away the layers that have build up around her.
