An enduring friendship, beautiful imagery, solid descriptions.


A must read for all ages. Katherine lives in the small, sleepy coastal village of Worchestshire and through the promptings of Mrs. Roose, the baker's wife, she decides to embark on a fearless journey away from her family and the only life she had ever known to find adventure and an unlikely friendship.
