This is the fifth book in The Power series following teenage psychic McKenzie Gold. This installment is about a premonition that Mack has about her boyfriend Aidan dying. She realises that it is meant to happen this upcoming Valentine's Day and she has to put together the pieces of the puzzle and try to prevent it from happening.

Another well written and enjoyable read. I really like the characters and the story was well paced with the countdown element making for a lot of tension. There is also a part of the story which involves child abuse which I thought was handled well for a book of this time and for the intended audience of older children and younger teens. As with other books in this series it includes some serious subject matter and presents it in a thoughtful manner, but also manages to be a fun and entertaining story at the same time. I look forward to reading more in the series!
