5 stars solely for the sex scenes

Proofreading errors abound, and some main characters are so flawed they are hard to sympathize with
The proofreading errors were so numerous, they kept distracting me from the story. For instance, I found 24 in just the 5th book in this anthology, and I skimmed some of it, so likely there were a few more. They weren't all simple typos, either; homonyms, verb tense, verb/noun singular/plural agreement, and just incorrect word choice (relegated should have been resigned, signally should have been signaling).
Some of the main characters were hard for me to sympathize with (Dani, Duke, and to a lesser extent, Laine) but I respect the author's imagination as being more inclusive than my comfort level. I also was impressed at the multi sided look at the potential impact of children of 2 men, although I'm not sure that "genetic engineering" applies... to me, it's more like IVF using gametes from 2 men to provide the DNA to insert into the ennucleated egg, since there wasn't any reference to tinkering with individual genes or chromosomes, or even selecting certain embryos to keep or dispose of. The description of how the special school works was very interesting, too. Good sci-fi premise!

Too many errors
It seems the author and editors got more careless as the series progressed. The errors were very distracting and included incorrect character names. Even the sexy scenes did not give enough sizzle to overcome this.

It was a good read.
This box set has some good stories it in. But for me sometimes it felt like the characters was talking to much in the head or the author was trying to put to much into the build up. Don't get me wrong I like the stories .
