Ann never knew who Bill was going to bring home to dinner. Bill would often times make a new friend while on his journeys and invite them to join Ann and him in a home cooked meal. As you can imagine, Bill had many friends and those who did accept his invitation were treated to a fabulous meal, a glass of wine and some exciting stories. This book includes Bill Kane's original "Cooking and Eating Tales". It is a collection of simple and tasty recipes Bill developed over the years and put to paper while living with Ann on their small vineyard in Los Lunas, New Mexico. Bill recounts stories that he had while cooking and eating with friends and family. The second half of the book, “More Cooking and Eating Tales”, includes recipes and stories from Bill’s family that have been compiled since he passed away in Montana of pancreatic cancer. Bill inspired his family and others to try cooking on their own. These recipes and stories are some of the family’s favorites.
