While the persons demonstrating the techniques in the book are fairly skilled, the penmanship is quite poor, which makes reading hard to understand, especially in the introductory section. The translation of the historical sources used is done sub-par, while the sources themdelves are not even mentioned. I was fortunate enough to have travelled to France for training on several occasions, as well as to acquire a library of more than a dozen savate related books. Unfortunately, this one is the weakest of them all.
