Talk about an inside view, and these stories prove life is every bit as dramatic as fiction. This is the second true-crime type memoir from this author and it's very much a peak behind those scary prison walls. And despite the horrific stories behind the crimes these inamtes committed, MacLean brings a humanity to the telling of their tales. There's a lot of psychological insight in his observations. Engaging and recommended.
