The United States, and the community of Bakerville, face a new threat…a threat that could change America forever. As the neighbors band together, all worry about friends and family members. Have they found safety from this latest danger?

Lindsey and Logan escape extreme danger on the West Coast. They thought they had faced the worst of this disaster, but they’re not prepared for what they find on the road to Bakerville.

Sisters Sylvia and Sabrina leave their Phoenix suburb to join their mom and stepdad in Bakerville. When they run out of gas, they need to finish the last 150 or so miles on foot. Are they up for the challenge?

Jake and Mollie Caldwell have created a refuge for their family and friends—a place where everyone can be safe. But what happens when danger lurks in the perceived security of home?

Shields and Ramparts is the fourth installment of the Havoc in Wyoming Christian Futuristic series. If you like mysterious apocalyptic events, fast-paced adventure, and plausible situations, then you’ll love this page-turning series.

Millie Copper, writer of Cozy Apocalyptic Fiction and preparedness mentor, was born in Nebraska but never lived there. Her parents fully embraced wanderlust and moved regularly, giving her an advantage of being from nowhere and everywhere.

Millie Copper lives in the wilds of Wyoming with her husband and young son, tending chickens and attempting a food forest on their small homestead. After living off the grid for several years, they've recently gone back on the grid. Four adult daughters, three sons-in-law, and five grandchildren round out the family.

Since 2009, Millie has authored articles on traditional foods, alternative health, homesteading, and preparedness-many times all within the same piece. Millie has penned seven nonfiction, traditional food focused books, sharing how, with a little creativity, anyone can transition to a real foods diet without overwhelming their food budget.

The twelve-installment Havoc in Wyoming and six-installment Montana Mayhem Christian Post-Apocalyptic fiction series use her homesteading, off-the-grid, and preparedness lifestyle as a guide. The adventures continue with the upcoming Dakota Destruction series.

I liked this book better than the last one because it didn’t jump back to earlier books in the series. It added some new people but some of them were mentioned in earlier books so you knew a little about them.

Edge of you seat suspense

I couldn’t put this book down. When I wasn’t reading I was still thinking about the story. This is a great, clean, suspenseful read about surviving the unthinkable.
I love the characters: Jake, Mollie, Lindsay, Logan, Silvia, Sabrina, and the rest. There is lots of action, personal relationships, and tragedy.

Good read again Millie. I love the series. I have been to Wyoming many years ago. Glad it wasn't like what is portrayed in the series. Onto reading Part 5 in the next few days. I enjoyed the children's journey to get to Wyoming to be with family.

Totally Realistic

If the world is attacked you would want to know these people! Down home values, preparedness, sorrows and sticktoitness keeps them in good stead throughout. Loved the stories and the characters.

The plot thickens

As more family members attempt to make it home, bombs go off either nuclear or EMP. Things rapidly change, people who you thought were your friends may not be. And people adopted into the community may be more of a liability then help. Where does it end and how?
