Melody Carlson is the award-winning author of over two hundred books, several of them Christmas novellas from Revell, including her much-loved and bestselling book, The Christmas Bus.

She also writes many teen books, including the Diary of a Teenage Girl series, the TrueColors series, and the Carter House Girls series.

Melody was nominated for a Romantic Times Career Achievement Award in the inspirational market for her books, including the Notes from a Spinning Planet series and Finding Alice, which is in production as a Lifetime Television movie. I loved this book.

I love the honesty with which these Moms share their stories. Many of them are heartbreaking, and don't always have a good ending, even though they want God's best for their sons. Although these stories help me to see that we are not alone, I gave it four stars. I would have appreciated more tips on how to pray for our sons, live with them, and talk to them. More success stories would have been encouraging as well.
