To be able to learn the all the skills necessary in order to compete in MMA from one book, ANY book, would be impossible. This book does a great job of introducing the reader into the rules, regulations, and training techniques needed in order to compete in MMA. While no book can replace a gym and proper training, I think this book would be a great introduction in order to begin building ones cardiovascular endurance and strength; two things that will be absolutely necessary to train in MMA.
