how i can read this book?

Al kindi, arguably one of the brightest mind of high medieval ages, was a polymath with interest in diverse fields. He also credited with the discovery of frequency analysis technique in cryptography.

I was hoping to find some interesting insights into to his thinking and ethics. But this book was utterly disappointing. Almost all the information provided can be found in Wikipedia. Disappointing read.
