My auntie and uncle got me this book because my friend Koa is in it! I was able to find Koa in all the pages. This book so cool because the fish change colors!

This is a really cool book, though it was clearly done on a low budget or by people with unimpressive design skills. It looks kinda cheap. But the pull-tabs are really cool, starting out black and white and turning into colored illustrations once you pull them. I also love the location-specific or just more specific children's book. You can find hundreds that tell children the same farm animals (do children really need to know farm animals?) but ones like these are more rare. A nice find, though the last page was torn all to shreds. I taped it back up (unfortunately it had already been taped with Scotch, so I couldn't use my book tape) but I don't plan to let young children look at it on their own. It may not be constructed very sturdily.

This happens to be one of the three books I somewhat randomly shoved into my overstuffed luggage to come with us on our halfway-around-the-world moving extravaganza. Luckily, while the story is somewhat lacking, Violet (currently 2 months old), loves to watch the fish turn from black and white to color illustrations when I pull the tabs.
