This ended up being a reasonably good resource with information that is perhaps even worthwhile to know. The organization, principally by construction division, was reasonable. I did have some difficulty remembering which chapter a couple particular items were under and found the index to be of little help. Do note that, unlike many books, the glossary is actually not an unnecessary appendix. Instead, I found that some of the practice questions drew on that material as well as the chapter content and that the terms were typically worth reviewing. Also, Kaplan publishes a separate volume on architectural history that a highly diligent exam candidate would want to review as well before taking this test. Since the practice test at the end and the chapter by chapter quizzes have some overlap, I would recommend working on other materials for a bit before taking the practice test.
