I was struck and got to understand that self-discipline is more then a habit. It is an intention. The book builds on the concept, expanding and explaining how we all can develop this skill, while guiding with examples as I moved through the steps. Good read.
A basic list of items for self discipline ranging from the normal such as monitoring your health and adapting to change to the odd like walking around half dressed and barefoot in the cold. Interesting enough and quite short, but wish there were more actionable items in there.
This was great. Short, practical and to the point. Its like all the self help books combined into one short manual. While it lacks a lot of supporting evidence, and the examples are vague and uninteresting, it delivers practical exercises and solid advice.
