Sculptural knitting! I stumbled upon this book in my university's library while looking for contemporary artists who use knitting in their work. Now, I'm a huge fan of Streyl's architectural knits! The book features images of her buildings both on and off their armatures and discusses her critique of consumerism and global branding. Particular emphasis on buildings in Berlin. Highly recommended for those knitters seeking out-of-the-box scultpural ideas and for art teachers looking to bring in some contemporary fiber art exemplars.
