Guitar Works Volume Six: Seven String Jazz Guitar

This is a seven string acoustic project. I started with a damaged acoustic guitar as a base: Stripped the neck and top off and began my build on this basic skeleton. The work covered includes building a soundboard; gluing the soundboard to the body and all that entails. Building a custom rosewood bridge and string peg pod: Designing and building the top, installing Humbuckers; building a hybrid electronics system and pod with a built in tuner. Breaking down the seven string neck and refretting it, leveling it and setting it up. Cutting a brass blank and turning it into a finished saddle for the custom seven string bridge: Carving a new bone nut. Prep, sanding, paint and clear coats along with a complete build to a finished guitar photographed in full color at every step.
