These approaches are behavioural theory, agency theory, transaction cost economics, economic contributions to strategic management and evolutionary approaches to organisations.

Economic Approaches to Organizations gives a really good overview of basic economic theories in relation to organization. It is easy to understand for those of us who do not have a financial background. Very approachable and great at explaining the different concepts.
