"I could still see the relevance in identifying and recognizing true thought leaders."

24 Carat Bold: The Standard For Real Thoughts Leaders is another work by Mindy Gibbin-Klein, an author with great enthusiasts in thoughts leadership, this book will provide a standard or some guidelines for real thought leaders. Consisted of 10 chapters with an introduction, Mindy will give some insights and tips on how to be a bold and most importantly, a REAL Thought Leader.

This is the second book by Mindy that I had read and once again, with its unique title, it captures my attention. If The Thoughtful Leader touches more about what actually is and several things that are related to it, this book Is exploring more on the standards for someone to become a real thought leader and what they should do. One thing that I like is the linear way of explanation and understandable terms and words. Mindy also includes a few examples and using a reflectional approach by using her own experience to deliver her messages very well it.

Few things that I find interesting or catch my attention are the celebrity culture that the author had mentioned. Mindy gives her point why it is not suitable or can lead the mass into the pit of negativity like stress and a constant feeling of inadequacy since it celebrates the wrong things especially when they achieved popularity because of their appearance, wealth, or peer group. However, Mindy didn't generalize all of them are bad influences since some of them actually doing some good things. Honestly speaking, I really agreed with her points about it. Second, Mindy gives four keys attributes of a real thought leader by using an acronym for REAL which are Reach, Engagement, Authority, and Longevity. She also using a chair with four legs to explains the acronym clearly. Thirdly, another important thing is BOLD. Bold also can be translated as brave, courageous, and strong. A real thought leader is brave enough to stand by his or her own. To conquer the obstacles and challenges that occur in the path to becoming a real thought leader and most importantly, able to face their greatest enemy, their own fear.

Finally, this book offers another interesting perspective about real thought leaders. Honestly, I never think about this topic before this until I discover it. Using a straightforward and more convincing tone, I can say that Mindy managed to deliver her messages clearly. I really enjoyed reading it and because of that, I am not hesitant to give my 5-star to it.
