This is my go-to book for finding SK birds as it includes the 145 most common ones and makes it easy to find the one you are currently viewing. the book has a great index with pictures at the front to help you find which section the bird is in.
While Amazon.ca did not have it listed it is available from its publisher at the regular price.

This is the book I carry in my pack when I'm hiking and backpacking. It's not the most comprehensive guide out there, but it strikes a perfect balance between size and thoroughness. The tough and flexible paperback cover and rounded page corners clearly recognize that this is a book meant to be jammed in a bag between trail mix and a water bottle.

An interesting bird book. It gives some details of bird life in Saskatchewan but only a brief synopsis.
