This is Geraldine Hatch Hanon's only book unfortunately, as she died so prematurely. It is a well written and well referenced book, with deep insights. I find the structure of the book pleasing - first part includes inter alia a chapter on 'the birth of feminine time', which is well researched and brilliant. It is philosophical but perfectly understandable, as it written so clearly. Part II deals with the personal planets, the social planets, the transpersonal planets and the asteroids. Part III deals with the cosmic patterns of the generations, adult transitions and the future. It is easy to carry over material to the 2020's. This makes me feel like reading more feminist astrology, if I can find some more. It definitely raises issues that astrologers do not usually raise. A good read.
Interesting for discussing the feminine roots of astrological some divinities later masculinized. For example, the underworld was said to be ruled by a Triple Goddess the dark goddess; originally the abundant underworld was ruled by triple goddess (also known as Hecate/Kali, Queen of the Underworld)that included including a Persephone/Kore as the nymph/vrgin aspect and Demeter maiden mother befoe the later account of Pluto raping Persephone.
