This title presents amazing "hiders" in nature. Camouflage at its best. The bigger-than-life photos of crystal clear images work well for classroom settings. The text shares interesting information about each animal, including habitats and locales.

Back matter includes Glossary, Read More, Internet Sites, Critical Thinking Questions, and Index.

All about animals that use camouflage to protect themselves from predators OR to help them prey on other animals - like the Trapdoor Spider. The index is a bit sparse but I like the Critical Thinking questions.
