The Country Club of Darien: The First Fifty Years

Rate this book
Since its beginning in 1957, when founder Edgar Auchincloss converted his family's two hundred-acre farm, "Keewaydin," into a challenging golf course, the Country Club of Darien has developed into a full-service country club of renown. Originally conceived as a golf club for golf addicts, CCD soon became a first-class tennis and swimming facility and a social oasis for entire families. Golf architect Horace Tull designed the course.
