This book was very interesting. Understanding the "hidden injuries" within white folks is a matter of the superstructure system that we are stuck in that becomes personal. There were stories in this auto-ethnography that were a little silly, in a good way, and there were some stories that were very sad. The context of the story takes place in an urban NYC neighborhood, so the context may not apply to everyone. Overall, the read was good and eye opening. I did have to read this for a class, but I am glad I did!
