This book follows on from book one seamlessly, the same characters coming towards the end of their first year at university. However, there are complications flaring up all over. Cheating husbands, teenage pregnancy, ill health and much more. All the sub-plots are really well crafted, not just page fillers. Each character has their own issues and the author does a fabulous job of drawing you into their lives. I particularly liked Juliette's story, even if I was screaming at her to do the right thing. Did she? You'll have to read and find out...

A thoroughly good book that had me from page one. I will be reading the next chapter very soon.

This is book 2 in the the School of Dreams series and I would recommend reading the first book so you can get to know all the characters. I found all the characters realistic and like real people. There is romance and intrigue, I wanted to know what would happen with the characters, luckily there is going to be a book 3 which I am really looking forward too.

Reading book two in this series was like catching up with a group of dearly missed friends. I hadn’t realised how much I’d wanted to follow the character’s journeys until I once again became engrossed in the trials & tribulations of their lives. The author is wonderful at capturing emotion & a few unexpected twists had me devouring this late into the night. A series that would make a great TV drama.

Wow, Wow and Wow. Outstanding from Julia once again a real classic. after the anxiety from finishing the first book the second finally arrived, Julia has gone from a 10/10 to a solid 11. So glad I booked a week of college to read the whole book as it was filled with many emotions and action packed moments. She is an inspiration to the country and infact the world, keep up the good work and lets look forward to a rollercoaster of 2019.

Captivating!

I have been really looking forward to reading this second instalment in the series, it did not disappoint, again keeping me enthralled with the unfolding dramas in the friends lives. Down to earth writing with just the right amount of intrigue and romance. Cant wait for the third chapter to be available, keep up the great work Julia.

Visions of the heart (The School of Dreams Book 2) by Julia Sutton

It’s been a while since I read book one, which I really enjoyed by the way, and I wondered if I’d remember all the characters and their personal dilemmas and situations. I needn’t have worried at all. The author gradually introduced each one, and I was immediately back there, in the middle of the mismatched group of University students, remembering their lives as though they were old friends I’d had the good fortune to find again.

It went through my mind that, even if you hadn’t read the first book you could easily get into this, as their past mishaps and misfortunes were seamlessly woven into the new storyline to refresh past readers’ minds and inform new ones. There were lots of other little storylines and unexpected twists intermingled into this novel that kept me reading page after page.

I became totally encapsulated in the story and couldn’t put it down. The characters are really well defined, totally believable, and you feel like you’ve known them forever. I wanted to find out if Evelyn, the aspiring author, would overcome her grief and build up the nerve to send her manuscript to publishers; if Sophie would remain with her famous, egotistical footballer boyfriend; if Juliette’s relationship with the dashing Ben rivers would continue to flourish; if Ann would succeed in her dreams of adopting a child, and what was happening between Will and his girlfriend Hema?!

The characters are all so realistic, that you feel as though you know them all personally. This is a great little book that I Highly Recommend.

I really enjoyed to read Visions of the heart. It is a very enjoyable book, I loved plot and how events follow each characters. But The School of Dreams, #2 book I decided to have audio book. It took everything away, so the reader of the book was very poorly did her job. She was reading whole book ,like she was reading poetry. I was disappointed, how just wrong kind of reading could destroy whole book. Anyway no more audiobooks for awhile….

I enjoyed the first in the series and this one was even better. All the friends have their own story line which is interesting and often heartwarming. I've already bought the next book and can't wait to read it.
